Who are We?
Established on February 23, 1999 by Mr. André Paquet and his son, Cristian, Mecanicad was using advanced technology (computer simulations) for mechanical design and finished products. The company owners soon realised that they could reduce gross vehicle weight and increase volume transported by using a light, slick and abrasion resistant polymer lining instead of steel that they could install inside trucks, trailers, hoppers, silos and buckets.
Using other plastic material to manufacture large size ventilation duct pipes which were carried by trailers, Mecanicad found a new way to increase number of pipes per truck load by designing a clip type product which is jointed at the customers' sites. A new product was born, the MECANIVENT®, used in mining drifts and tunnels for its greater efficiency.
An experienced team of employees is working in two production plants which are well equipped with advanced technological tools to meet various customers' requests.
