How do I get a quote for my ventilation project?

Your project is unique. In order to make a realistic estimate of your project, we must first optimize it, because the performance of our products will allow you to reduce the size and increase the distances achievable in your ventilation system. Fill out the quote form by clicking HERE.

What is your delivery time?

In order for you to start your installation project, we guarantee a 4-week lead time from the time we receive your purchase order. Rest assured that any emergency will be treated as a priority and processed within this time frame.

What is the K factor of your products?

Our many projects around the world, mainly in Canada, allow us to consider a K-factor of 5 for our products. Ask for our list of customer references to get testimonials. You will see!

What do you mean by « optimize my project? »

Upfront, we evaluate your project by collecting the necessary data to make the appropriate analysis and calculations. We then work out the best match between duct size and fan choice to optimize the energy efficiency of your ventilation system. During your project, we accompany you in the proper installation of our products to ensure that the previously calculated performance is achieved. Furthermore, we accompany you in the reuse of our products on your site in order to accelerate the return on investment of the Mecanicad ventilation system.

Do you ship internationally and how?

We ship our ventilation ducts in custom wooden boxes that allow you to handle them from the surface, to the underground installation site. Adapters and elbows are delivered on pallets. We ship international orders by sea in 40-foot containers or by land, depending on the destination.

How much conduit can be delivered in one load?

Thanks to our unique "U" shaped delivery process, it is possible to deliver up to 300 conduits (700 meters) per truck. By container, it is possible to deliver up to 240 ducts (550 meters).

What are the differences between Copolymer Polypropylene and PVC Type II?

Both plastics have the same positive pressure performance. The difference is in price, weight, color and the fact that each plastic meets a different fire resistance standard for underground ventilation materials. Our PVC is grey and our Copolymer Polypropylene is white.

Mecanicad's "Copoly" (Copolymer Polypropylene) line of rigid ducts complies with UL 94HB (Underwriters Laboratories Inc., UL). The UL 94HB Standard is not a ventilation specific standard. It evaluates flammability, burn rate and speed of advancement of plastic materials.

Mecanicad's "PVC Type II" line of rigid ducts complies with CSA-M427-M91(R2021) (VH) and MSHA 30 CFR 7.28 (V0) (US Mine Safety and Health Administration). These rigid ducts ARE considered to be "self-extinguishing".
